Techo International Airport’s monumental Buddha greets departing travelers with a serene blessing gesture beneath the terminal’s latticed steel dome and skylights. This 9‑meter, 9‑ton bronze image symbolizes peace and prosperity while showcasing Cambodia’s evolving Buddhist and architectural identity. Visible exclusively from the departure hall, it has quickly become both a place of quiet reflection and a must‑shoot backdrop for passengers leaving Phnom Penh.
