Romduol (Sphaerocoryne lefevrei, Khmer: រំដួល) graces the title of Cambodia’s national flower — a delicate blossom cherished for its subtle beauty and the gentle fragrance it releases, most intoxicating in the quiet hours of evening. Its likeness, with three graceful petals, is immortalized in the stone carvings of Khmer temples, such as the intricate columns of Banteay Srei, where the floral motif blooms eternally in sandstone.
