Picture of the day: White Guava Blossom in Cambodia – Nature’s Delicate Star

The guava (Khmer: ត្របែក) flower unfolds like a sunburst of cream-white stamens, each filament reaching outward with quiet elegance. These blossoms appear during Cambodia’s flowering season, typically emerging in late spring when the tropical heat coaxes the myrtaceae family into bloom. Against dark green foliage, the flower’s intricate architecture reveals nature’s precision – hundreds of stamens surrounding a simple style, promising the fragrant fruit that will follow.
