Cat’s whiskers (Orthosiphon aristatus, Khmer: ពុកមាត់ឆ្មា puk moat chhma), also called Java tea, enjoyed considerable popularity in Cambodia a few years ago. The entire plant was commonly used to brew a herbal infusion, valued for its medicinal benefits, particularly its reputed effectiveness in supporting diabetes management.
