Shrimp dipping sauce, known in Khmer as ទឹកគ្រឿងបង្គា [tuek kroeung bangkea], is a popular Cambodian condiment served with a colorful mix of fresh and boiled vegetables. Trays often include crunchy raw items and softly cooked local gourds and edible flowers, creating a contrast of textures and subtle flavors. The sauce blends shrimp, lime, chili, garlic, sugar, and fish sauce into a bright, savory dip that enhances the natural taste of the vegetables and flowers, turning a simple sharing platter into a distinctly Khmer culinary experience.
