Adenium obesum, the beloved “desert rose,” known In Khmer as ចំប៉ីតឿ, thrives in Cambodia’s sun, its swollen trunk storing water like a quiet promise of the next bloom. Today’s flower of the day captures that meeting of resilience and beauty that defines so many plants in Cambodia’s dry-season landscapes.
