Returned from the Denver Art Museum in 2024, this Bayon-period Prajnaparamita finally stands again in the National Museum of Cambodia, close to her Angkor roots. The soft curve of her sandstone body, carved in the 12th century, blends spiritual serenity with the sensual refinement of classical Khmer sculpture. Visitors drift quietly around her, drawn into a shared moment of remembrance, restitution, and reverence for Cambodian heritage.
