At the edge of Kampot province, this white horse statue rises from a busy roundabout, greeting travelers on the road to Kep and the Gulf of Thailand. Its poised stance suggests both motion and pause, like a quiet breath before the sea breeze and salt fields that lie ahead. For many visitors, the White Horse Statue has become an unexpected landmark of coastal Cambodia, where everyday traffic meets hints of myth, memory, and open-road freedom.
