Princess Norodom Bopha Devi (Buppha Devi) was a Cambodian royal, legendary star of the Royal Ballet, and later Minister of Culture and Fine Arts who played a crucial role in reviving Khmer classical dance after the Khmer Rouge era. As prima ballerina and later director of the Royal Ballet of Cambodia, she carried Khmer dance onto international stages and helped transform it from a court ritual into a symbol of national identity. Until her death in 2019, she remained an emblematic figure of Cambodian cultural heritage and an inspiration for new generations of dancers. She has her statue at the National Museum in Phnom Penh.
