Located along Sothearos Boulevard within Phnom Penh’s Royal Palace, the Moonlight Pavilion (Khmer: ព្រះទីនាំងច័ន្ទឆាយា Preah Tineang Chanchhaya) is an open-air Khmer architectural gem built under King Sisowath in 1913–1914 as a stage for classical dance and royal ceremonies. Its grand balcony once served as a platform for kings to address the public and watch parades passing along the boulevard. Today, the pavilion remains a serene cultural landmark symbolizing Cambodia’s royal grace and traditional artistry.
