King Norodom Sihamoni (Khmer: នរោត្តម សីហមុនី) has been the King of Cambodia since 2004, succeeding his father, King Norodom Sihanouk, after being elected by the Crown Council. He is known for his ceremonial and symbolic role as the head of state, serving as a unifying figure for the Cambodian people and representing the nation at important events.
