Built at the beginning of the 12th century, Prasat Ta Tuot (Khmer: ប្រាសាទតាទួត) shelters these serene seated Buddhas deep within the walls of Angkor Thom. Their calm expressions and ordered rows evoke a quiet confidence from the early Angkorian age, when stone devotion first met jungle light. Weathered blocks, soft moss, and gentle reliefs turn this small sanctuary into an intimate pause amid Cambodia’s monumental temple landscape.
