In Cambodia, each day of the week is associated with a specific color, traditionally reflected in clothing and ceremonial dress. For example, Sunday is red, Monday is yellow or orange, Tuesday is purple, Wednesday is green, Thursday is yellowish green, Friday is blue, and Saturday is a plum-like color (a mix of red and dark blue). This colorful tradition is linked to the planets and has cultural significance, especially during religious events and ceremonies. While it is less common in daily life today, the custom remains important on formal and auspicious occasions.
