Picture of the day: Stormy Evening Sky over Kampong Thom

A stormy evening sky settles over Kampong Thom, painting the clouds in soft indigo and fading light as the rainy season approaches the Tonle Sap plain. In this calm before the downpour, villagers prepare for night while the clouds drift like slow-moving stories above wooden houses and rice fields. Scenes like this define Cambodia’s monsoon months, when dramatic skies and warm humidity turn even an ordinary rooftop view into a quiet moment of wonder.
