Steaming bowl of Khmer borbor trey (បបរត្រី)– silky rice porridge enriched with fish, fish cake, fragrant broth and fresh herbs, served at a bustling stall inside Phnom Penh’s Central Market. Comforting breakfast classic where tender flakes of river fish melt into the soup, balanced by chopped spring onion, coriander and a squeeze of lime. Perfect morning start before exploring the art‑deco halls and lively wet market surrounding Phsar Thmey.
